About

Services consist of clinical psychotherapy and EMDR therapy to overcome negative experiences. I believe the therapy process helps to improve health and wellness, enhance relationships and is a place to discover empowerment, hope, motivation and healing. My primary focus is to help resolve the distress from past or recent traumas, grief, loss, anxiety and depression and other life stressors.
I am grateful to share the experience of counseling and EMDR therapy with you.

Experience
I am a licensed psychotherapist in California with additional training and certification in EMDR Therapy. My clinical psychotherapy experience and training was received at programs for homeless families, victims of crime, trauma, domestic violence, and women in housing transitions. My therapeutic and crisis intervention experience centers around families in transition, at risk adolescents and women and children subjected to trauma.
My volunteer experience in the community is with the community crisis center, troubled youth treatment center and various cancer support and fundraising groups. I have been a member of a nationwide trauma recovery network organized to help communities in the event of a disaster and other humanitarian efforts. Such trauma services were provided to the community after mass shootings, California fires and support for healthcare workers during the pandemic.
In therapy, my approach is designed to meet individual needs using EMDR Therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and solution-focused treatment. The combination of these approaches provides an opportunity to help resolve concerns from the past or work with a solution-focused model to treat immediate concerns.
