About
Hello and Welcome!
Therapy services consist of clinical psychotherapy and EMDR therapy to overcome various negative experiences. Therapy is a process that helps to improve health and wellness, enhance relationships and is a place to discover empowerment, hope, motivation and healing.
My primary focus is to help you resolve distress and triggers as a result of past or recent traumas, grief, loss, anxiety, depression and other work and life stressors. While therapy is unique to each individual, I use EMDR therapy because I have witnessed the countless transformations, results and expressions of gratitude from clients. I also provide a genuine, caring and respectful approach to help you feel comfortable, empowered and motivated.
I am grateful to share the experience of counseling and EMDR therapy with you.
Diana

Professional History
I am a licensed psychotherapist in California with additional training and certification in EMDR Therapy and other trauma informed training. My clinical psychotherapy experience and training was received at programs for families experiencing a housing crisis, victims of crime, trauma, and domestic violence. My therapeutic and crisis intervention experience centers around families in transition, at risk adolescents and women and children subjected to trauma.
My volunteer experience in the community is with the community crisis center, troubled youth treatment center and various cancer support and fundraising groups. I am a member of an international trauma recovery network organized to help communities in the event of a disaster and other humanitarian efforts. Trauma recovery services that were provided to the community include treatment after mass shootings, California fires and support for healthcare workers during the pandemic.
